*Is There Anybody Out There?* is a haunting ceramic sculpture exploring isolation, confinement, and the universal desire to be seen and heard.

Beneath layers of twisted, fractured clay, a mysterious face emerges from the darkness. Its piercing red eyes stare outward, searching for recognition, connection, or perhaps escape. The figure appears trapped within its own deteriorating shell, suspended somewhere between existence and oblivion.

Hand-built using overlapping layers of clay, the sculpture features an intricate landscape of folds, cracks, and organic textures. Pale tones of ivory, bone, and muted pink contrast sharply with the glossy black face concealed within, creating a disturbing tension between vulnerability and menace.

The title poses a question that remains unanswered. Is this figure calling out to the world, or has it been forgotten by it?
