The Hollow Witness

The Hollow Witness

A haunting exploration of absence, memory, and the passage of time, *The Hollow Witness* is a one-of-a-kind, hand-carved wooden sculpture that seems to emerge from the ruins of a forgotten world.

Its twisting, asymmetrical form rises like an ancient relic, punctuated by irregular openings that resemble empty eyes, fractured bones, and gateways into the unknown. Deeply carved textures and scorched black surfaces contrast with the warmth of exposed wood, creating the appearance of something weathered by centuries of fire, ritual, and decay.

There is an unsettling sense of movement within the piece, as though its fragmented structure is struggling to hold itself together. The hollow spaces become as significant as the solid forms, inviting viewers to contemplate what has been lost, what remains, and what might still linger within.

Both primitive and otherworldly, *The Hollow Witness* embodies the darker side of organic abstraction. A striking statement piece for collectors of dark art, gothic sculpture, and unconventional contemporary artwork.
